    Walker-Jones Education Campus

    Vision Statement

“Regardless of their background, ability, past or current trauma, or socioeconomic status, students will emerge from WJEC, not just reading and writing at an advanced level, but as critical thinkers who are able to use a variety of technologies to flexibly solve problems. They will be confident advocates and change agents for themselves and their community. This education will help them develop their role as global citizens.

    Mission Statement

Walker-Jones students and adults take ownership of student achievement. We will accomplish this by providing a differentiated, effective, and rigorous curriculum, and a safe, orderly, and caring environment that meets the needs of the whole school community.

    Philosophy

It is the goal of the administration, staff, and parents to encourage students to exercise self-discipline. Students share the responsibility for creating an atmosphere that is conducive to learning. This is demonstrated by practicing our four core principles of Knowledge, Service, Leadership, and

    Character.

    Motto
“Every Student, Every Adult, Every Day ... Owning Achievement”
